Continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) have become increasingly popular in recent years, as more seniors are drawn to the benefits and security of “aging in place.”
Lasell Village is a continuing care retirement community, which means that we provide housing, services, amenities – and healthcare – all in one location. If your needs change, you can rest easy, knowing that we’ll provide the support and care that you need.
At Lasell Village, our continuum of care for residents includes:
Independent Living
We have 182 independent living residences (1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units), ranging in size from 640 square feet to 1,933 square feet. All of the units have full-size kitchens, and some have patios or balconies. Dining options include a dining room (with wait staff), a café, and take-out meals. Amenities include a fitness center and heated indoor pool, an art studio, and a raised-bed gardening area.
Lasell Studios
Lasell Studios is comprised of 9 private units, in a residential, community setting. Three meals a day are included, as well as assistance with daily living activities and 24-hour supervision. Care is provided by Certified Nursing Assistants, who are supervised by Licensed Nurses. Residents in Lasell Studios have access to Lasell Village educational classes, activities, events, and programs.
Lasell House
Lasell House is a 38-bed skilled nursing facility, which provides short-term and long-term rehab services to residents of Lasell Village. Lasell House has received a 5-star rating from Medicare. The Medicare rating system is based on health inspections, staffing, and quality measures, and 5-stars is the highest rating.
Lifelong Learning
Lasell Village is unique, in that we’re not only a continuing care retirement community, but we’re also a “university based retirement community.” Patterned after a classic New England village, we share a 13-acre campus with Lasell University, and residents can take college classes at the university, alongside students who are seeking degrees. Each year, each resident also commits to a personalized plan of learning and fitness activities.
Lasell Village Pricing
Similar to most other continuing care retirement communities, we require an entrance fee when you move into Lasell Village, as well as a monthly fee. We’d be happy to discuss pricing and options during a tour, or in a phone call, if you’d prefer.
