Welcome home to a community of lifelong learners.
Lasell Village, sponsored by Lasell University, is home to an average of 225 residents in its independent living apartments. Lasell Village also provides supported living, short-term rehabilitation services and long-term skilled care, as well as in-home healthcare. This award-winning university-based retirement community invites residents to experience senior living and retirement in a whole new way, by promoting an active, intellectually enriched lifestyle in a college setting.
Life at Lasell Village reflects the interests and imagination of its residents. A focus on living and learning is the defining characteristic of the community. Our affiliation with “Age-Friendly University” Lasell University fosters intergenerational learning and makes us unique among retirement communities.
The presiding philosophy of education at Lasell Village is that learning is a way of being—an approach to living through which residents pursue interests and engage in new experiences that enrich their lives. Whether by taking college courses, attending lectures, plays or exhibits, or joining an activity or club at the Village, there are as many paths to lifelong learning as there are residents.
Although it is one of a growing number of college-affiliated retirement communities, Lasell Village is the first to require an individualized continuing education program for each “Villager”. Each new resident of Lasell Village brings a unique and esteemed perspective.
We look forward to welcoming you!
