If you’re considering living in Lasell Village, we’d love to give you a tour of our community!

Located in Newton, Massachusetts (just 11 miles from downtown Boston), we’re an active, independent, senior living retirement community.

We’re one of the most unique retirement communities in the country, in that we’re situated on a university campus – Lasell University. This 13-acre, college-based setting fits perfectly with our mission to enhance seniors’ lives through lifelong learning, education, and culture.

You can schedule a personal tour of Lasell Village at your convenience. The tours typically take about 2 hours.

During the tour, we’ll look at the different choices in residences. We have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, with or without dens. The units range in size from 640 square feet to 1,933 square feet, and some apartments have balconies or patios.

In our time together, we’ll also tour the community spaces, including the dining room and café, the fitness center and pool, the community room, the art studio, the raised-bed gardening area, and the weather-protected walkways. We’re a pet-friendly retirement community, so you might meet a few furry friends on the tour.

We have an on-site skilled nursing facility (Five-Star Medicare rated), which provides short-term rehab services to our residents, and we can look at that, too.

Throughout the tour, we can talk about why Lasell Village is different than most other retirement communities that you might have heard about or toured, and whether we’d be a good fit for you.

As a continuing care retirement community, we do require an upfront community entrance fee, as well as a monthly fee. We’ll discuss the cost of Lasell Village and your options.
